Carrot seed is now part of our essential oil range. Extracted from the seed of the Daucus carota plant. The oil has a beautiful earthy texture and warm aroma. It is believed to provide benefits such as the reduction of stress and anxiety. It contains iodine, sodium, manganese, sulphur, silicon, zinc & copper and importantly, Vitamin K.

How to use

It is important to have a strong grip on the bottle in your hand so your pet is not able to grab it with their mouth. Firstly, let them smell it first and see if they ask for more (by coming back or giving a gentle nudge or showing you where they want to be applied). 

Application varies with each essential oil whether or not to use a base oil. 

Carrot seed can be used mixed with Green clay or a base oil or on its own. 

You can offer a few drops at a time from your hand or mix them into a bucket of water. 

Keep offering until they do not want anymore. 

If you are using it on your dogs, one must dilute first.
