Like the Dandelion plant, two parts are used - the root and the leaf. The root is soothing and particularly helps the digestive system. It is also known for being a herbal remedy for ulcers, inflammation in the gut, scouring and colitis. You can use the powder as a poultice to draw infections out of a wound. It can also be of benefit to dogs suffering with cystitis and kidney stones.
